CHAPTER HISTORY
On a cold evening on October 2, 1999 a tremendous void at Chicago State

University was  filled when a charter was granted to 8 young women who had a

vision of exposing the campus to an organization that displayed true Sisterhood,

Scholarship, and Service.  Omicron Chi Chapter would set an example of

excellence to the women of Chicago State University for the years to come and

carry out the vision of the founders of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
